Chad Lesman- Chair

Chad Lesman is the Career and Technical Education Teacher at Grafton Integrated Health Network. Chad has worked in a range of capacities with behaviorally challenged special needs students over the last 21 years. Chad holds 2 degrees from Shenandoah University, Master’s degree in Education Administration Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He is currently a Residential State Agent at Greenfield and Behr. He lives in Winchester, VA with his wife Tricia Lesman and daughters Madison and Claire.

 

Alicia Kerns – Vice Chair

Alisa has worked with TEENS, Inc. in some compacity since 2017. She is passionate about education and has worked in Higher Education for over 15 years. In addition to TEENS, Inc. Alisa has worked with Area 13 Special Olympics, Cub Scouts, and Selah Theatre. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Northeastern University. 

 

Bryan Teeter- Parliamentary/Secretary

Bryan is the Community Based Instruction Teacher at Grafton Integrated Health Network.  He has worked with a wide range of individuals with special needs for 15 years now at Grafton. Bryan holds three degrees, an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Tompkins County Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Exercise Science from Shepherd University, and a Master’s Degree in Teaching in Special Education from Liberty University. Bryan is from Ithaca, New York, but currently resides in Bunker Hill, WV with his wife, Megan, and his daughter, Braelyn.

 

Terri Pearce- Secretary

Terri has worked with children and adolescents with disabilities for 30 years. She is currently employed by Grafton Integrated Health Network in Winchester, Virginia where she is a Lead Residential Instructor.  I also volunteer with my local Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Reserve.  I currently live in Romney, West Virginia and in my spare time I like to enjoy the outdoors, cooking, baking, and spending time with my grandson.  

 

Sara Westfall- Member

Sara Westfall holds a BS degree in Human Services Counseling and a MS degree in Occupational and Technical Education from Old Dominion University. She also earned a MS degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from WVU and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Sara worked for Grafton School for 11 years where she was a vocational specialist and an academic teacher. For the last 20 years, she has been employed by Loudoun County Dept of MHSADS and manages directly operated day and employment waiver services, non-waiver supported employment services, psychosocial rehabilitation program, contracts for vendor day services. Sara is an avid WVU fan and is a board member of the Shenandoah Valley WVU Alumni chapter. Let’s Go Mountaineers! 

 

Shawn McClosky- Member

Shawn is a National Traffic Management Officer with the Federal Aviation Administration and an Air Force veteran. Shawn Holds two degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master’s Degree in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics. He lives in Winchester with his wife Kristi, and daughters Megan, Madeline, and Emily.
